# How to set up Twilio for SMS reminders?

> Connect Twilio so RevenueHero can text meeting reminders, the single most effective lever for cutting no-shows.

Email reminders get buried. A text doesn't. Connecting Twilio lets RevenueHero send SMS reminders before a meeting, which is one of the most reliable ways to lift show rates. The prospect gets a nudge on the channel they actually check, and your rep walks into a meeting that's far more likely to happen.

<Note>
  **BEFORE YOU BEGIN**

  1. You need a **Twilio** account with a phone number provisioned for SMS.
  2. Have your Twilio **Account SID** and **Auth Token** ready (from your Twilio console).

## Connect Twilio

1. In the left sidebar, click **Settings → Integrations**.
2. In the **Communication** section, click **Connect Twilio**. \\

3. Enter your Twilio credentials, the username (Account SID) and secret (Auth Token), and click **Connect Now**.

## Send SMS reminders

Once Twilio is connected, you can add SMS reminder steps to your meeting reminder workflows, the same way you add email reminders, so a booked prospect gets a text ahead of the call.

<Tip>
  A short SMS an hour before, with the meeting time and the join link, is the highest-impact reminder you can send. Keep it brief and make the link easy to tap.
