Audit logs record every change made to your routers, rules, scheduling setup and team settings: who made it, when, from where, and the value before and after. When a lead routes differently today than it did last week, the audit log shows you what changed.

What audit logs cover

Every resource below has its own audit log.

Open an audit log

Step 1: Open the resource

Go to the resource you want to check and open it for editing. For example, to see changes to a meeting type, click Types in the left sidebar and open the meeting type.

Step 2: Click Audit Logs

Click Audit Logs in the top-right corner of the page.
Audit Logs 01 Button
The Audit Logs panel opens on the right. Changes are listed newest first and grouped by date. Each entry shows what changed, the time, and who made the change. Changes RevenueHero makes automatically show System instead of a person’s name. The first change ever made, Created, sits at the bottom of the list.

Read an entry

Click an entry to expand it.
  • Session info shows where the change came from, such as the web app, and the IP address it was made from.
  • Changes made lists every field that changed in that save. The old value is struck through and the new value sits beside it.
An entry titled ā€œUpdated When can the next meeting be assigned? and 3 moreā€ means four fields changed in a single save. Expand it to see all four.

Find a specific change

Type in the Search changes. box at the top of the panel to narrow the list. This is quicker than scrolling when a resource has a long history.
If a lead routed differently than you expected, open the audit log on the router first, then on the matching and distribution rules it uses. Look for changes made between the last time routing worked as expected and the first time it didn’t.

Good to know

  • Audit logs show changes to your setup. To see what happened to a specific meeting, use the meeting’s Activities timeline. To see whether a workflow ran, use Workflow Logs.
